Pewsey Garden
Located in a beautiful tranquil part of Dorset the landscape created for this Grade 2 listed stone farmhouse has really added an element of joy to the property and has addressed some functional problems with the previous garden.
A large stone terrace for entertaining with a large family also contains a handbuilt outdoor kitchen using local Chilmark Stone. The curved shallow steps are inviting to explore the rest of the garden.
The width of the garden has been used with a new route to the stables which are set off by a sunny curved area defined by pleached hornbeams underplanted with Hydrangea Annabelle which in time will look stunning against the perennials. A formal Rose Garden creates a welcoming entrance to the back garden and an avenue of Pyrus Chanticleer underplanted with daffodils creates a beautiful vista from the house contrasted with the adjacent naturalised paddock.
