This project was designed with several factors in mind including vehicular access through to the back of the garden, screening of houses at the bottom of the garden. 

 

A modern but classic feel has been created using materiality including vertical narrow strips of timber for the fencing, bold arches to drive under so the driveway very much became part of the garden, corten steel has been used to cover the low retaining wall and a bold use of blocks of planting with different shapes. 

 

A large pergola created a positive outdoor setting area where the property had previously felt overlooked.
